Old Man Gloom - No download album

This is Old Man Gloom's fifth album, their first in eight years. They weren't on hiatus, just busy writing the greatest album in music history. That makes them the proud progenitors of the five greatest albums of all time, "NO" being number one. "NO" is like "one", only spelled backwards and without the "E". - Old Man Gloom are playing shows in 2012 and 2013, just in time for the collapse of the global economy. The acronym for Old Man Gloom is "OMG"

Old Man Gloom is an extreme metal band originally formed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, but now based in Massachusetts. The group, formed by Aaron Turner of Isis and Santos Montano, expanded to become a sort of supergroup in the Boston hardcore and metalcore scene.

No is the fifth studio album by American rock band Old Man Gloom. Though the album saw a limited release during the group's May 2012 tours, it saw official wide release on June 26, 2012 through Hydra Head Records. No is Old Man Gloom's first studio release in eight years since 2004's Christmas. Grand Inversion" – 2:25. Common Species" – 7:59. Regain, Rejoin" – 2:31. To Carry the Flame" – 4:31. The Forking Path" – 4:13.

Originally formed in New Mexico by guitarist/vocalist Aaron Turner (Isis) and drummer Santos Montano, the Massachusetts-based group Old Man Gloom has since expanded into a sort of supergroup among the Boston hardcore/metalcore scene.

The band's full name is supposedly The Old Man Gloom Alien Simian Defence League, but they have never released an album with this name on it. Jay Randall has contributed electronics to many of the band's songs.

Old Man Gloom is a post-hardcore/doom metal/post-metal band originally formed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, but now based in Massachusetts. The group, formed by Aaron Turner of Isis and Santos Montano, has now expanded to become a sort of supergroup in the Boston hardcore and metalcore scene. The group is less a band than it is a recording project for a variety of talent.

A very old man gloom writing session has come to an end. Much laughing, many meals, and a lots of hours of me criticizing Aaron’s avant-garde record collection. We also took many long rainy walks, we danced in our socks, and we learned the name of some trees in Aaron’s yard. Oh, and we wrote a whole god damn Old Man Gloom record that we all agree is going to be fucking awesome. Depending on your perspective.

Old Man Gloom's NO is a weird record. It's also a graceful, surprisingly catchy one. It's a complex, knotty collection that speaks to the members' hard-won confidence in each other and what they do together. Though, on average, younger than the guys in Harvey Milk, Old Man Gloom are also made up of dudes starting to find gray in their beards. Unlike Harvey Milk, they could still use some Ritalin. You might be tempted to call OMG a "super group," but that's a ridiculous term in 2012, especially in the context of underground music.
