Secrets Of Flying is the second and final album released by Bahamian American singer-songwriter Johnny Kemp. Released at the end of 1987, this album featured two massively successful singles. The first hit from the album was the Grammy-nominated single "Just Got Paid," which cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1988, and went on to top both the R&B chart and Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. The second hit from the album, "Dancin' with Myself" also became a top-5 R&B success.

He scored a number one R&B hit with it, but unfortunately peaked as an artist once it faded. The rest of the album wasn't anywhere near that level, and Kemp has never come close to duplicating either the song or getting compositions, production, and arrangements that could regenerate his career. The single was also noteworthy in that it was one of the first big hits co-produced by Teddy Riley, who went on to become an influential figure in new jack swing R&B.
