Nephilim are the offspring of angels (sons of God) and human women (daughters of men), but it could also refer to giants, or simply to humans and/or angels who have fallen from grace. Most will be more familiar with the offspring type though, and this is also the type of Nephilim used the most in other works of fiction, like the Nephalem in Diablo for example. There are named Nephilim, but their names are not nearly as numerous as names of angels or demons.
