Moonlover proves that Ghost Bath's first LP wasn't a one-off. There are still some indulgent portions on there, but the sheer musicianship and songwriting attention of the guy behind this overcomes a lot of the growing pains of his sound. GHOST BATH was an underappreciated band in 2014 but with Moonlover I think they should expect to start receiving a lot more attention

Moonlover is the second studio album by American extreme metal band Ghost Bath. Recorded by producer Joshua Schroeder in Michigan, it was released on April 10, 2015 through, Northern Silence Productions. The album is the first Ghost Bath release after the band was revealed to be from North Dakota. The album drew comparisons to California-based black metal band Deafheaven in terms of style and song titles, which were criticized by Deafheaven guitarist Kerry McCoy.

Originally due for release on March 17, 2015; however, due to printing issues at the pressing plant, namely the unsuitability of the "metallic" ink which was meant to be used, the release of the digipak had to be postponed to April 10, 2015.
