Music: Carlos Gardel Lyrics: Alfredo Le Pera Photo: Carlos Gardel 11-12-1890 – 24-06-1935. My beloved Buenos Aires When I see you again, You will have no more forgetting or sorrow. The street lamp on the street where I was born Watched over my promises of love, Beneath its soft light I saw her, My sweetheart, glowing bright as a sun. Now that my luck shines for me to see you again, Port city of my only longing, And I hear the lament Of a bandoneon, Deep inside, it wants to breaks my heart. Mi Buenos Aires Land of flowers Where I would choose For my life to end.
