Heads II Part A download album

Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City and disbanded in 1991. The band was comprised of David Byrne (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Frantz (drums), Tina Weymouth (bass), and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar). They released eight albums, in addition to several well received live albums. This phase wouldn't last long, however, as David Byrne's smartly subversive songwriting was bound to find an audience bigger than New York's punk rock elite. With Fear Of Music (1979), the band began to radiate a kind of somber power, as they beefed up their previously lean sound with African rhythms. Remain In Light followed in 1980, and remains one of the more striking albums of that decade or any other.

You want two heads on your body And you've got two mirrors in your hand Priests are made of brick with gold crosses on a stick And your nose is too small for this land Inside your head is your town Inside your room your jail Inside your mouth the elephants trunk and booze The only key to your bail. Want two heads on your body And you've got two mirrors in your hand.

You want two heads on you body And you've got two mirrors in your hand. Priests are made of brick with gold crosses on a stick and your nose is too small for this land. Inside your head is your town inside your room your jail inside your mouth the elephants trunk and booze, the only key to your bail. Two heads can be put together. And you can fill both your feet with sand. Noone will know you've gutted your mind but what will you do with your bloody hands? Your lions are fighting with chairs, your arms.

Talking Heads 7th studio album "True Stories" was released in 1986 and is a studio album from the band that contains the band doing songs from David Byrne's film, but are not the actual performances from the movie since the songs were done by the actors in the film. There was also an album released later that year under David Byrne's name called "Sounds from True Stories" but that one contained incidental music from the movie and not the songs in the film. During the punk explosion of the late 70s, some bands (who were considered to be part of the punk movement) started to veer away from the traditional punk sound. Now, Talking Heads weren't really a punk band, but they came with the territory. But, in all fairness, these guys are probably the kings and possible creators of the original new wave sound.
