Frontman Sully Erna was asked by Rock 10. The KATT about the response Godsmack got from "diehard" fans for their latest album "When Legends Rise," to which he replied (via Blabbermouth ): " good. There are always a couple of whiners that you can't satisfy, but that's just the world that we live in. We play music for us and we hope that people come along for the journey. And ultimately, we just start writing music, and we try to keep it unique as much as we can, we try and not to write the same record every time - that kind of thing - but we do have a certain sound, a signature kind of sound that we've established over the years, and we wanna make sure we don't branch too. far from that. But at the same time, we need to be able to explore some different textures; otherwise, it gets boring for us to. We recently had a chance to chat with Godsmack's Sully Erna about the When Legends Rise album, which was borne out of a transitional period in the band's career. Erna discusses some of the album's key tracks, including the rare Godsmack rock ballad "Under Your Scars. It isn't another Avalon album with a different name. Forever My Infinity is the only track on Hometown Life that, I would say would have paired well with the musical style of Sully's first solo album. The other 9 tracks have more of a blues rock, or Jazz influence to them. Not only do I like the music and vocals to these 5 songs. I find they most often come to mind when I'm not listening to music. Especially if I have had a rough day. I would and actually have already highly recommended this album to others.

15606631476/ This is a recent news interview done on me by King5 in Seattle. I looked down and released the back was filling up with water and I wasn't able to move forward. I thought I was now going to drowned. I stood on the seats to get as much out of the water as I could and climbed over them to get to the wing exits. The wings were full when I got there but a man (Capt Sully I believe) was Standing up at the front yelling for us to come forward into the rafts up there.
