And ultimately, we just start writing music, and we try to keep it unique as much as we can, we try and not to write the same record every time - that kind of thing - but we do have a certain sound, a signature kind of sound that we've established over the years, and we wanna make sure we don't branch too. far from that. But at the same time, we need to be able to explore some different textures; otherwise, it gets boring for us to. We recently had a chance to chat with Godsmack's Sully Erna about the When Legends Rise album, which was borne out of a transitional period in the band's career. Erna discusses some of the album's key tracks, including the rare Godsmack rock ballad "Under Your Scars. We also chat with Sully about his "cousin," director Salvatore Pasquale, that awesome "Bulletproof" video and the band's "can't miss" pairing this summer with their old friends in Shinedown. Check out the chat below. When Legends Rise" is a fitting title.

It isn't another Avalon album with a different name. Forever My Infinity is the only track on Hometown Life that, I would say would have paired well with the musical style of Sully's first solo album. The other 9 tracks have more of a blues rock, or Jazz influence to them. Not only do I like the music and vocals to these 5 songs. I find they most often come to mind when I'm not listening to music. Especially if I have had a rough day. I would and actually have already highly recommended this album to others.

The wings were full when I got there but a man (Capt Sully I believe) was Standing up at the front yelling for us to come forward into the rafts up there.
