Reviews about Shannon Lay - Living Water (1):

Talking about the actual music and not the quality of the record, My favourite track would be “The Moons Detriment”, it makes me reminisce to a past I didn’t even have. Other tracks such as “Coast” didn’t fit with the peaceful theme of the record with the offbeat ride cymbal notes and rushed guitar not working together well. However, this may just be added to give greater contrast to the next track “sis” which is a soft farewell from the album. Despite the physical quality of the record, the music is perfect and shows off Lay’s wide range of ability and is definitely worth adding to your collection.
