Sasha - Scene Delete download album
referencing Scene Delete, 3xLP, Album, Ltd, ALNLP43 a beautiful downtempo yet futuristic compilation of tunes. and let all the dodgy ibiza style progressive house shite get I'm the way In between. This is Sasha at his best with some deep melodic chill music. I didn't know what to expect after reading about it but when I started to listen to it for the first I knew after only the first couple tracks that this was going to be a great album. I put it up there with Airdrawndagger, now that's not to say its as good but rather in the same league. If you a fan of Sasha or of good deep melodic music you need this album. Scene Delete’ is a side of Sasha you’ve never heard before. About three years ago, my collaborators David Gardner and ThermalBear and I wrote a song called ‘Bring On The Night’. I sent it to Ultraista and within a few days she sent it back with this amazing vocal on, with Nigel Goodrich playing keyboards. We tried to do club mixes but we just couldn’t get it right. So it sat there doing nothing. Tracks like this kept building up, until finally last summer my frustration boiled over
Sasha - Scene Delete During the mid-'90s, at the height of his fame as a DJ, Sasha was known for playing music with a distinct and powerful emotional centre. These moods weren't necessarily new in dance music. A similar sense of poignancy had been explored in other genres, but the appeal of Sasha's progressive house sound was in the framing. 1999's Xpander EP is the most obvious example, but there were tracks on the otherwise patchy Airdrawndagger album and relatively more recent cuts on his emFire label-"Coma" comes to mind-that were similarly evocative. Scene Delete, Sasha's latest album, was inspired by his appreciation of modern classical. The collection is drawn from music he was writing as a sideline to his club tunes, using the relative serenity of styles like ambient and downtempo as a sort of creative catharsis.
Scene Delete (known in full as Late Night Tales Presents Sasha: Scene Delete) is the third studio album by Welsh DJ Sasha. It was released on 1 April 2016 through Late Night Tales on British independent record label Night Time Stories, Ltd. The album has been described as "unabashedly ambient" and Sasha described it as "a split in career"
Scene Delete, as the album is known, will contain 21 new original creations from Sasha in a style that he refers to as unabashedly ambient. Exclusive: Sasha Premieres First Solo Material In 4 Years. It’s a definitive move for one of the reigning kings of progressive house, but one befitting of his creative process. Whenever I’m in the studio and I’ve been working on techno or club music, he says, I immediately want to work on something more textural and ambient. Ultimately, the new album marks a turning point for Sasha. Having woven a storied path through the house and techno realm, Scene Delete is his chance to diverge. I think this album is acting as a split in my career, he says. this is going to be the split.
