A good album from Goldie and one of the most important drum & bass albums of our time which is not to be forgotten, overlooked or taken for granted. A must for any d&b lover and this album is full of great tracks and one of the best tunes on the album I think is "Kemistry" as it's beautiful and nasty at the same time. R. I. P Kemistry from Kemistry & Storm and a great talent we've lost. A must have! Reply Notify me Helpful.

Timeless, the album that propelled him from underground esteem to mainstream acclaim, has kept him exactly that for over 22 years since its release in 1995. Released after the original acid house comedown had subsided and been replaced by the marketable milieu of the superclub, Timeless – and Goldie with it – became its antithesis. Since the release of Saturnz Return 19 years ago, has this album just been bottled up inside of you? Goldie : I think you have to let go of a lot of stuff. Retrospectively, Timeless looked at only ten years of my life – it was a coming-of-age album. I always felt that that I never surpassed that album, and in a really bitter way I wish I had. If you get labelled with one great album, that’s the story of your life, so this album spans three decades in terms of what I’ve been about.

Timeless is the 1995 debut album by British electronic musician Goldie and universally regarded as a groundbreaking release in the history of drum and bass music. Track B is slightly different take of the same song that was released on ATCO Records 45-6427 in the US with "Goldie And The Gingerbreads" as the artist. It's a cover version of The Soul Sisters' song from 1965.
It is credited to the wrong writers though.
Tommy Roe released a different song with the same title in 1962, which probably how this mix-up came about.
The credits on the US release are correct.
