Scattered Disc by Seabat, released 19 June 2013 1. The Human Endeavor 2. Cryogenic Awakening 3. Ecliptic Survey (aka Scattered Transmissions) 4. Resonant Orbit 5. Trans-Neptunian Space. Coffee Head Duck This is fantastic in all of its cinematic sci-fi glory. A real Stargate ritual. This album is what it means to cut through space.

Scattered Disc ‎(Cass, Album, Ltd, Chr). Scattered Disc' is filled with lush, vibrant sounds, that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. I may go out and pick up the vinyl version of this release as it's extremely limited and I'd like to get a copy before they become harder to come by. This for fans of classic ambient stuff from SF's Silent Records from the early 1990's as well as the Hypnos label.

Released: 15 Apr 2013. 2013 Seabat World Wide, Goldtimers Tapes.

Reviews about Seabat - Scattered Disc (1):
Vaua
I went for this tape after taking a chance and purchasing Seabat's beautiful vinyl release on the most excellent Constellation Tatsu record label. 'Scattered Disc' is filled with lush, vibrant sounds, that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. I may go out and pick up the vinyl version of this release as it's extremely limited and I'd like to get a copy before they become harder to come by. This for fans of classic ambient stuff from SF's Silent Records from the early 1990's as well as the Hypnos label. As an avid listener of ambient experimental music for over 25+ years now I know when I'll keep a release in my collection for a long time and this is one of those releases. It's great for meditation, reading, surfing the web, or just chilling out on your bed with a nice set of headphones. With only 50 tapes made as well this cassette will soon become difficult to track down but in the mean time I'm glad to have a copy to enjoy. There are pieces on this releases that sounds like a lost soundtrack for an movie of epic proportions. Seabat is a name I will be paying more attention to and will keep my eyes out for other releases. Great stuff.
