Megadeth - An Interview With Megadeth download album
MEGADETH‘s new album, TH1RT3EN, is tentatively due in November via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine‘s Vic’s Garage studio in San Marcos, California with producer Johnny K (full name: John Karkazis), who has previously worked with DISTURBED, SEVENDUST, MACHINE HEAD and STAIND, among others. Regarding the recording process for TH1RT3EN, bassist David Ellefson said in a recent interview, It came together really quickly as we did it in between the ‘Big Four’ show in Indio and we went right into the studio and had to have it done before the next ‘Big Four’ show, which was in Germany. So we basically had this 10-week window where we had to arrange, finish any writing and basically record a whole album.
Megadeth is back in a huge way, launching a multimedia assault that includes the new album Dystopia, a virtual reality headset, and (most importantly) over 20 shows across North America. You’ve just dropped Dystopia, your fifteenth studio album. For fans who’ve yet to listen to it, what can they look forward to? DAVE MUSTAINE: There’s so many cheesy ways to say this, like return to form or glory days revisited
Megadeth’s Risk album was released in 1999. The album was considered an album under the expectation by Megadeth fans. The fans were expecting a thrash metal sound album, and this album remained below those expectations. Megadeth’s mastermind Dave Mustaine spoke in an interview by uDiscover and explained a few regrets about the Risk album. He said: People expected that speed and thrashy kind of stuff. If that record would have been called the ‘Dave Mustaine Project,’ people would have loved it. But because it said Megadeth, they expected Megadeth.
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine was the latest guest on Full Metal Jackie's weekend radio program. There was a lot to discuss as Megadeth have a wealth of plans for 2019, including festival cruise MegaCruise, a craft beer and metal fest dubbed Kegadeth, the band's 16th studio album and more. Mustaine also spoke about Megadeth's early adoption to new technology and the impact of drummer Dirk Verbeuren. My brother Slash was just saying recently in an interview when he and I discussed him joining Megadeth and leaving Guns N' Roses and we were jamming together a lot God I don’t even know how I got on that subject. Dave, there are plans for a Megadeth festival event to coincide with the next album. What do you have to take into consideration when planning something other than typical tour dates?
Megadeth continued to play their 1990 album Rust In Peace in its entirety, while Slayer performed their Seasons in the Abyss album. On October 21, 2010, during the final show of Jägermeister Music Tour, Kerry King joined Megadeth on stage at the Gibson Amphitheater in Hollywood, California to perform Megadeth's classic "Rattlehead". He also confirmed in an interview with Rolling Stone on July 12, 2011 that "Sudden Death" (which earlier appeared in the video game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock), "Never Dead" and a title track, "13", would be included on the album. In an interview KISW 9. FM in Seattle, Mustaine stated that, after 4 years of absence, there would be a new Gigantour tour in 2012.
