Bruce Springsteen - Born To Be The Boss download album

It’s a testament to the fact that classic album or not, there are still some tracks we root for more than others to pop up in our shuffles. Today, in honor of the 40th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run, we rank the iconic LP from best to greatest. Born to Run turns 40 today

Born to Run is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen. As his effort to break into the mainstream, the album was a commercial success, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200 and eventually selling six million copies in the United States. Two singles were released from the album: "Born to Run" and "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out"; the first helped Springsteen to reach mainstream popularity

His mother, whose parents were immigrants from Naples and Sorrento, taught him other lessons: Truthfulness, consistency, professionalism, kindness, compassion, manners, thoughtfulness, pride in yourself, honour, love, faith in and fidelity to your family, commitment, joy in your work and a never-say-die thirst for life. In a book that bears the hallmarks of having been written by his own hand, Springsteen is particularly good at capturing the exhilaration of his rise to success with the E Street Band, formed as a benevolent dictatorship in 1972 after he had grown weary of playing in co-operative groups. Democracy in rock bands, with very few exceptions, is often a ticking time-bomb, he writes.

Born To Run was the album that created the legend and set the stage for massive international success. Features classic Boss tracks like 'Thunder Road', 'Badlands' and, of course, 'Born To Run'. Happy 40th birthday, "Born To Run" by "The Boss" Mr. Bruce Springsteen. It was released August 25,1975. After 2 moderate selling albums "Greetings" and "Innocent" this record surprised everybody, the hooks and the anthems were everywhere.

Bruce Springsteen’s song lyrics have injected more drama and mystery into the myths of the American road than any figure since Jack Kerouac. He knows this, of course. So it’s one of the running jokes in his big, loose, rangy and intensely satisfying new memoir, Born to Run (what else was he going to call it?), that he didn’t begin to drive until he was well into his 20s - around the time he landed simultaneously on the covers of Time and Newsweek.

Reviews about Bruce Springsteen - Born To Be The Boss (1):
Mojar
Very nice set. Good sound for an 81 audience, but still not as crisp as the Stockholm 81 sets (Follow that Dream and Teardrops on the City). Issued in both black and clear vinyl. Unsure which release came first. Subsequently released as a picture disc set with the odd title, Summer 85, and a strange choice of pictures.
