Mr. Jones is a drunkard and the proprietor of the Manor Farm. One day he gets so drunk that he forgets to close the pop-holes and goes to bed. All the animals in the farm flutter and stir to meet at the big barn to listen to the dram of old Major – a white boar. The boar is the most esteemed animal in the farm and everyone was eager to hear about his dream and speech.
