Great repress of this rare Italo track. Not a killer tune to be honest, but a nice track for Italo fans and you'll get the chance to buy it for decent money. The pressing is excellent, very quiet and all centered (not usual these days). The only down side in my opinion is the decision to put two remixes on the record, which are not necessary. As the label has decided to cut the record at 45 RPM, you get a very low volume output. The Flemming Dalum Edit is quite nice though, but I can't find any Italo relation in the Ali Renault Remake. If you like slow trance or house or whatever, you may like it. But this is just not my kind of music at all...Anyway, nice to see that ZYX still has it's moments and able to bring us a good release from time to time.

Well, I think I explained everything in my review. I did not say that I don't like this record or the record is not my music. This comment is related to the Ali Renault Remix only as you can read above.Of course this is no killer Italo tune in my opinion, but I like it enough to spend 14 Euro for it. And of course I have a copy, otherwise I could not have written a review...

Hmm, i wouldn't say it's a bad record, but compared with "Giteano"and "body heat" it's a lesser thing.But, still 5 stars .

For me it's much better than Eagles In The Night though :)

Is there really an instrumental version? I don't think so. Never see/heard one. Maybe you just dreamed about an instrumental version, just like me @magic00. ;)

This is and always has been one of my favorite italo disco songs of all time! Not only is "Tumidanda" a wonderful song, but the 12" is pressed with 3 different versions, all which offer harmony to the ear. The English Version is of course the song sung in English. And then you have the Italian Version where the male vocalist (I believe it may be Fred Ventura) sings very fast, almost rapping, in the Italian language. The male/female chorus is still sung in English, Come back!" ... "Oh no". And finally, you have the Instrumental Version, great for DJs looking for the deep synth of this song without any vocals. This song deserves something more like a 7 out of 5. If you like italo disco, there is nothing that should stop you from finding the 12" of this beautiful production on the fairly rare Market Records label.

There is no instrumental version. I guess you mixed up with "Helicon" while writing this.
