Richard Bargel is one of Germany's few innovative German blues musicians and has already been awarded the "German Record Critics Prize" twice and has received two other nominations. Since 1970, he has been one of the blues icons. He is also an actor, author, speaker and composer of film music.
Littlefield was regarded as a teenage wonder and overnight sensation when in 1949, at the age of 18, he popularized the triplet piano style on his Modern Records debut single, "It's Midnight".
