Cheap Trick - Next Position Please (1983).

Lyrics to "Next Position Please" song by Cheap Trick: People all over the world They get up they get down They get in they get out They get pushed, they . .Next position please Do I have to get down on my knees Next position please I'm in a hurry, so hurry please. Read between the lines Learn a new message Read the latest book It's a new twist Be the first one to have a new ideal You'll never get bored with mirrors on the ceiling. Next position please Do I have to get down on my knees Next position please I'm in a hurry, so hurry please

Cheap Trick attempted to ride the new wave on 1982’s One on One, but wound up with a wipe-out, so they recovered by hiring Todd Rundgren, one of the few ‘70s album-rockers who proved that he knew how to negotiate the treacherous waters of the early ‘80s, for 1983’s Next Position Please. Rundgren wielded a heavy hand during his production, pushing Cheap Trick toward making a record that could easily be mistaken for a Utopia record - so much so, the Todd composition, Heaven’s Falling, slips onto the second side without calling attention to itself.

Next Position Please. Released August 15, 1983. Next Position Please Tracklist. 1. I Can't Take It Lyrics. 3. I Don't Love Here Anymore Lyrics. 4. Next Position Please Lyrics.

Other than that Next Position Please will be a pleasant surprise not only for the Cheap Trick fans but also those who appreciate good music. Moreover, the album can be rather confidently called the band’s best effort released in the 1980s, especially since what would follow it exhibits a descending trend. The conscious attempt to amend that would take place only in the following decade. Electric Light Orchestra Alone in the Universe.
