George Jarrett Helm, Jr. (born March 23, 1950 – disappeared March 7, 1977) was a Native Hawaiian activist and musician from Kalamaʻula, Molokaʻi, Hawaii. He graduated from St. Louis High School on Oʻahu, about which he said, "I came to Honolulu to get educated. Instead I lost my innocence. While at St. Louis, he studied under Hawaiian cultural expert John Kahauanu Lake, and achieved mastery in vocal performance and guitar.

The Music of George Helm - A True Hawaiian. He was a gifted musician and falsetto, but George Helm is best remembered for his martyrdom as a leader of the movement to stop military bombing of Kaho'olawe. The Moloka'i native felt a special connection to the land - Helm coined the phrase aloha 'aina, which is Hawaiian for love of the land - and he joined the first group of activists to make an illegal landing on Kaho'olawe on Jan. 4, 1976.
