A2. One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer. A3. I'm Still A Fool For You. A4. That's What I've Been Through. Notable for the first recording of "One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer" Amos Milburn swings through the tune here in his mellow tenor that's a sea change from George Thorogood's MTV generation rendition. This classy Score Records pressing is an absolutely charming array of understated songs, marred only by the cheesy cover, one that's a testament to the racial divide of the '50s, when selling records to white folks demanded a black artist's portrait would be relegated to the back cover.

Let's Have a Party Tracklist. 1. One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer Lyrics. 3. Let's Have A Party Lyrics. 4. Good, Good Whiskey Lyrics.

Reviews about Amos Milburn - Let's Have A Party (1):
I have what appears to be the 1983 French issue listed above (Same Cat No., "reedition 1983" printed on the sleeve, etc.) but it has a slightly different track listing. Two tracks missing (Baby, Baby & That's What I've Been Through) but four additions (Bad, Bad Whiskey, Let's Rock A While, Down The Road Apiece and Bewildered). Anyone Know the whys and wherefores here?
