Martin Denny - Martin Denny's Exotica And More! download album
Exotica is the first album by Martin Denny, released in 1957. It contained Denny's most famous piece, "Quiet Village", and spawned an entire genre bearing its name. It was recorded December 1956 in Webley Edwards' studio in Waikiki (not, as often reported, the Aluminum Dome at Henry J. Kaiser's Hawaiian Village Complex). The album topped Billboard's charts in 1959.

Martin Denny (born April 10, 1911 in New York City, NY, United States - died March 2, 2005 in Honolulu, Hawaii) was an American musician. He was universally known as the founder and reigning king of exotica music, a type of big band music with Latin rhythms and overtones of Pacific Ocean culture that is largely scorned by critics but was extremely popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
The 19 tracks on The Best of Martin Denny's Exotica are original recordings from his Liberty albums and include the hits "Exotica," the Les Baxter-penned "Quiet Village," "Hypnotique," "Jungle Drums," and "The Enchanted Isle. Also of special interest is a previously unreleased five-minute interview with Denny and heartfelt liner notes penned by his daughter Christina.
