RIVE GAUCHE is a new band of Alexandre Destrez who is the pianist for ST GERMAIN's Boulevard and Tourist albums, all SHAZZ, OSCAR's albums, and many other international Djs and Producers. In 1995 we can hear for the first time Alexandre Destrez's keyboards on "Boulevard" (F Com), his first record, and then later on "From Detroit to St Germain" (F Com) especially with the much acclaimed "Deep in It" and "Soul Salsa Soul" tracks.

Remix wise Simbad delivers some lively and futuristic house, but the real seal of approval comes courtesy of a frenetic DnB meets lounge remix by the mighty Gilles Peterson.
