Live at the El Mocambo is the second live album by the Canadian rock band April Wine, released in 1977. It was recorded during a performance at Toronto's El Mocambo club on 4 and 5 March 1977 when April Wine opened for the Rolling Stones during one of the surprise club appearances for which the Stones are renowned, and during which they recorded part of their own live album Love You Live (1977).

They recorded and released their debut album April Wine in September 1971, the album spawned their first single, Fast Train, which received fairly steady airplay on radio stations across Canada and established Myles Goodwyn as the bands main songwriter. The singles success led the label to ask for a second album amid the first of many lineup changes. 3. El Mocambo – El Mocambo is a live music and entertainment venue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located on Spadina Avenue, just south of College Street, the bar has played an important role in the development of music in Toronto since the 1940s. Apocryphally, the building at 462 Spadina had been a music venue since 1850 and was first used as a haven for escaped slaves.
