I love how they continue to grow and deliver a new sound with each album. The release itself is pretty awesome, I purchased the package which included a gate fold sleeve signed by all the band members and pressed on limited colored wax which sounds great. Pretty unhappy with this album, the pressing is excellent and the sound is awesome especially compared to the melophobia mastering, but the music itself suffers from lack of tenacity and even direction at times, its a sad direction to take i think on the bands part, working with Auerbach probably influenced this stale blues/pop influence.
