Incendiary - Cost Of Living download album

Incendiary is an American hardcore punk band from Long Island, New York. Incendiary began in 2008 with a 7" EP titled Amongst The Filth. In 2009, Incendiary released their first full-length album titled Crusade on Eternal Hope Records. In 2013, Incendiary released their second full-length album, Cost of Living, on Closed Casket Activities. In 2017, Incendiary released their third full-length album, Thousand Mile Stare, on Closed Casket Activities.

With Cost of Living, Incendiary has crafted a massive improvement over their debut, in that they've made a solid, consistent metallic-hardcore album. Crusade has some awesome tracks, but tended to collapse under its own weight after the first few. As I've said many times, the ultimate test of a band's identity is that when you listen to them, you can tell them apart. And when I hear the thick, ferocious anger of NY hardcore propelled by an incredible weight of heavy grooves, I'm happy to know Incendiary is on. 8/10

Cost of Living‘, the band’s sophomore full-length takes the Incendiary sound crafted on earlier releases, tightens things up and delivers it all with a greater sense of confidence to provide a collection of powerful, passionate NYHC gems. Opener Zeitgeist builds up slowly with hard-as-nails riffs backed up by a rock solid rhythm section. It quite accurately sets the tone for the record, which for the most part sticks to a quite formulaic method.
