Originally on the 1977 album Rendez Vous, this is a global sound only by virtue of release; Tagg was born in Illinois and recorded the album in Texas, but it was only released in the Netherlands and Japan. The first half of AOR Global Sounds is a perfectly sequenced suite of forgotten pop. Hawaiian disco artist Nohelani Cypriano contributes the smoldering Lihue, and French singer Diane Tell’s Je Suis En Amour is an equally worthy follow-up.
