Founder and artistic director of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne since 1989, pianist and conductor Lorraine Vaillancourt has performed regularly for the past thirty years, for several ensembles internationally. Her recent work with Les Percussions de Strasbourg was enthusiastically received by critics. She is responsible for many premieres both as a pianist and as a conductor.
