Vital repress of one of Pearson Sound's best tracks. Cast your mind back to 2012 and it was hard to escape 'Untitled', Pearson Sound had not long ago dropped. Cast your mind back to 2012 and it was hard to escape ‘Untitled’, Pearson Sound had not long ago dropped the Ramadanman alias and was unleashing stripped back drum trax that gave a nod to Chicago as much as Croydon. A couple of years and one album on, these still sound remarkably fresh and relevant – no mean feat considering the fickle and fast changing music game. Pearson Sound – XLB. Vinyl. Out of stock! Dancefloor.

Pearson Sound Untitled (Breakbeat, Bass Music, Dubstep).

Pearson Sound – Untitled, Footloose. 7 years ago by Matt Rauch. I was in a bit of shock when I saw that a new Pearson Sound release was on the horizon. Two tracks that have scarcely been played since the famous Hessle Audio takeover at Boiler Room are already on the shelves. There's also a good old fashion YouTube set rip of "Footloose" below. At the moment, it seems that Untitled, Footloose is being exclusively distributed on Surus.

Hi everyone. This discussion got brought to my attention. Sorry to hear some people are having problems with the pressing. I thoroughly checked the TPs, as well as the finished copies and there weren't any problems. As with all TPs I approve, I checked it on a few different needles and turntables. So it sounds like there is a bit of variation within the pressing which is quite a rare problem. I will speak to the distributor today and try to work out a solution. Sorry again! I hear absolutely no problems on mine. I've listened to both sides through headphones off my mixer as well as through my studio monitors. I mean, there is a bit of warmth to the bass and dirt in the sample... but it sounds correct. Definitely no digital clipping to my ears, let alone unintended overdrive. Kinda curious why some were affected and others weren't. I got mine from Red Eye Records. Anyone else who ordered from there have a problem?
Ffleg
Strange it's only some of them though... It's not only something nerdy audiophiles will notice, it's proper distortion throughout any loud part of the track on mine. Pre-ordered mine through surus I believe
Worla
Incredible tracks but my vinyl seems distorted as well... Such a shame, nearly all of 'untitled' sounds like it's clipping, but 'footloose' is unaffected though. Has David said anything regarding this?
Ariseym
yeah banaclips, I unfortunately agree. still, dope 12!
Unereel
These two tracks are obviously very good, but the mastering of side A seems to have been messed up, as it sounds a bit overdriven and distorted, especially when the melody is playing. As if due to dust on the record or needle. The B-Side ('Footloose') has no problems though.
Fordredor
I noticed that too, and it only appears with that synthesizer rolls in. Turning down the gain on my turntable was the only way I could of fixed the problem. I also have decent expensive needles too, so unfortunately that didn't help much.
Thordira
yeah i've found this too, cleaned it loads and still fucked. glad its not my needles.
Jockahougu
Looks like you can still get copies at Surus and Chemical, and a bunch of places like Phonica haven't got copies up for sale yet. It will probably be fairly limited, judging by the previous white label (Grab Somebody / Mir).
Mezilabar
is it limited? "one per-person" and "out of stock" on redeye just after few hours
