Reviews about Jo Stafford - As You Desire Me (1):

If you like cool but don't dig jazz, this could be for you. It's a ballad selection that maintains a gentle swing that is more stately than melancholy. Orchestra and choir are used most sparingly. It's probably perfect vocal modernism.
