Prince - The Hits 1 download album

The Hits/The B-Sides is a box set by American recording artist Prince. It was released on September 10, 1993, by Paisley Park Records and Warner Bros. In 1993, Prince wanted to release Goldnigga, the debut album by his band The New Power Generation but Warner Bros.

The Hits 1 is the first compilation album by Prince. It was released simultaneously with The Hits 2, The Hits, The B-Sides and The Hits Video Collection home video in September 1993, and the disc itself was also included as the first disc of The Hits, The B-Sides. In conjunction with The Hits 2, the album contains most of Prince's most well-known songs from 13 studio albums, released originally between 1978 and 1993 (Batman being the only album not represented)

The primary fault with Prince's two-part Hits collection is that both volumes are missing some important singles and are sequenced incoherently, thereby failing to give an accurate impression of his astonishing musical growth. However, they do contain enough necessary items to illustrate why he was one of the most influential and gifted musicians of the '80s, as well as providing a reasonable introduction and compilation for casual fans.

is exactly as described. Bought this for my husband who wanted a certain collection of Prince's songs. Sound quality is excellent and it is definitely an collectors CD.

Never one to conform, he redefined and forever changed our musical landscape. Prince was an original who influenced so many, and his legacy will live on forever. He exploded in the mainstream with the album and film Purple Rain, which hit soon after its release in 1984 and would register 24 weeks atop the album chart; it would go on to sell 13m copies. It also featured his first single, Let’s Go Crazy.

Prince - The Hits 1 CD. Read full description. See details and exclusions. I bought this cd as i like some of Princes music and wanted to see what the album was like. I have to say i was greatly disappointed. The condition of the disc was fine and delivered as expected but the choice of music on the cd was not great. I think there are 1 possibly 2 decent tunes on this and the rest all sounds the same. This was a shame but for any well versed Prince fan you already know that you like this music you will like the album. Anyone who is gonna give it a go. Good luck.

In 1993, Prince released a greatest hits compilation. to/2wqaGAV Ask Prince's Friend a Question: bi. y/AskaFriend Support the channel on Patreon: Patreon. It was a greatest hits album that was long over due at that time. The Hits 1 and 2 were worth the price for three of the most sweetest new songs that I had ever heard from Prince. I never felt cheated. Bring on the true reason why I purchased this disc set long ago.

Lead voice by Prince & Rosie Gaines Prince: It's been 7 hours and 13 days Since u took your love away I go out every night and sleep all day Since u took your love away. Rosie: Since you've been gone I can do whatever I want I can see who ever I choose Eat my dinner in a fancy restaurant, oh yeah But nothing, nothing can take away these blues. P & R: Nothing Compares, Nothing Compares 2 u. Rosie: Oh baby.
