Hawks - Hawks download album

The Jayhawks is a 1986 album by The Jayhawks. It is also known as the Bunkhouse Tapes. Out of print for many years, the album was digitally remastered from reel-to-reel and reissued by Lost Highway Records on May 18, 2010. The re-release features an eleven-page booklet designed by Mark Olson.

Hawks was a power pop group based in the Fort Dodge, Iowa, area from 1979 to 1982. The band consisted of Dave Hearn (keyboards, vocals), Larry Adams (drums), Frank Wiewel (bass, lead vocals), Kirk Kaufman (guitar, vocals) and Dave Steen (guitar, vocals). They released two albums on Columbia Records - Hawks (rel. 3/81, NJC 36922) and 30 Seconds Over Otho (rel. 7/82, ARC 38058) − while they were together

Four of the five members wrote and sang great pop tunes that could have had wider appeal if this album had just received some airplay. The problem was that they were too commercial for the pop/new wave crowd and too pop/new wave for the rock crowd. Their sound recalled such British influences as Badfinger and American contemporaries like Cheap Trick and Todd Rundgren.

Redirected from Moonlight Madness (Barry Gibb album)). Hawks" is the soundtrack album for the film Hawks. All of the songs were performed by Barry Gibb (except the song "Chain Reaction", which was performed by Diana Ross). All of the songs were written and recorded in 1986 by Barry for the unreleased Moonlight Madness album with the exception of "Childhood Days" and the instrumental "Celebration De La Vie"

Quaker City Night Hawks release their new album 'QCNH' on March 1st. Jacob Blickenstaff. Ten years into the life of Quaker City Night Hawks, David Matsler and Sam Anderson had to stop and think about what they were doing. After three albums of fuzzed-out blues-rock, the last of which - 2016’s El Astronauta - was a sci-fi-themed concept record, QCNH needed a new drummer and bassist. So they did what any self-respecting rock band would do: They got heavier - and weirder.
