The two tracks on the vinyl unfortunately do not push Einoma into newly developed realms, but is nonetheless, good solid material. Track A is the most notable and really moves along nicely, with signature folding and driving techniques that create sonic architecture. It has a steady beat and develops nicely in cold and emotive ways. Track B is a little underwhelming. It's use of an overly familiar bass line motif, surprised me with its lack of originality.

After three years of silence and six years since the highly acclaimed "Milli Tonverka" LP, Reykjavik´s Einoma return with a highly beat-driven and epic two track EP for Lamadameaveclechien. Composing for the first time pieces based on live sets and improvisations, the EP shows a more organic nature of Einoma´s sound. The EP comes with a stunning artwork and a big poster from Sherrie Thai from Shaire productions who´s 'graphic alchemy' seems to fit the music perfectly on a fundamental level. Tvenna is highly original, engaging, and recommended for any fan of challenging music. com "Driven by a relentless beat and a metallic groove, Minióma is the most upbeat of the two, its highly mechanised rhythm set on a seemingly unstoppable path.

Einóma is a collaboration between two Icelandic friends and studio partners, Bjarni and Steindór. Prior to the genesis of Einóma and their intriguing, mysterious strain of experimental electronica, Bjarni and Steindór initially collaborated on short films, writing scripts and playing with sound and camera techniques.

Their Tvenna EP from 2010 saw the pair delivering a more organic wash of cryptic (yet rhythmic) noise. This time around, each minute is painstakingly poured through a sieve catching only the thickest of fragments for astute ears to ingest. Perhaps better fit for small gatherings of like-minded individuals in a run-down venue, each of these three tracks are truncated by subterranean beats, rolling bass and intense electrical deformities.

This release by Einoma is interesting as an entire package. With the limited white release of 111 pressed, it also comes with a poster and a CD. The CD features solo material by Bjarni Gunnarsson. With about 49 minutes of extra audio material, housed in an artistic felt slip case, this CD really adds to the value of this release-as a purchase. The two tracks on the vinyl unfortunately do not push Einoma into newly developed realms, but is nonetheless, good solid material. It has a steady beat and develops nicely in cold and emotive ways. Track B is a little underwhelming. It's use of an overly familiar bass line motif, surprised me with its lack of originality. Overall, track B is interesting but not in my opinion worthy of being the 2nd track on a 2 track EP. When looking at their last release " Encam EP", its hard not to want more of the wizardry and dynamics that can be found on that EP.The CD that comes with the white vinyl release is almost worth the price of admission alone. It is very experimental and the sounds are constantly morphing and folding in some very "Confield" ways. It definitely has some very chilly tones and harbors deep caverns of sonic challenges, that will amaze and excite almost any ardent fan of IDM.
