Black Sabbath - Live Evil download album

Live Evil is the first official live album by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. The previously released Live at Last (1980) was not sanctioned by the band. Live Evil peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. In early 1982 Black Sabbath's publishing deal with their previous management expired. By re-recording several songs from their earlier catalog and releasing them as a live album, all the songwriters stood to see a hefty profit from the publishing royalties.

Live Evil is the first official live album by British traditional heavy metal band Black Sabbath. The album was recorded in Seattle, San Antonio, and Dallas during the band’s 1982 tour in support of their album Mob Rules. Producers Black Sabbath, Martin Birch & Rodger Bain. Writers Bill Ward, Dio, Geezer Butler & 3 more. Assistant Engineer Joe "C" Foglia. Assisted By Graham Wright & Mickey Balla.

The artwork was meant to signify several Black Sabbath song titles visually. They are: Paranoid, Voodoo, Heaven & Hell, Neon Knights, . Iron Man, War Pigs, Children of the Sea, & Mob Rules. I always liked the ‘Live at Hammersmith Odeon’ album better; I feel it has a more stronger sound but Joe I’m pretty sure your aware of the Live Evil video footage, do you know if any release was intended in ’82 or if any future release is coming out? Reply. September 2, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Hammersmith does sound better, and the tracks were re-mixed in 2007 using modern technology, not 1983 technology and a producer that was aware of the mistakes made while producing the other two Sabbath live albums, namely Live Evil and Live at Last

Release date: December 1st, 1982. Due to the acrimonious nature of their split with Black Sabbath just before the release of the album, Ronnie James Dio is billed only as "Ronnie Dio" and Vinny Appice is listed as a guest musician despite having been a full member of the band. The original 80′s US CD version (Warner) had 2 discs in 2 Jewel Cases.

Black Sabbath's first attempt at an official live album, 1982's Live Evil was also the straw that broke the camel's back - or rather, split the legendary group's second lineup right down the middle.

Listen free to Black Sabbath – Live Evil (E5150, Neon Knights and more). Live Evil, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music) and in January 1983 in the UK, is the first "official" live album by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, the previously released Live at Last (1980) not having been sanctioned by the band. It was recorded with Ronnie James Dio singing and is a document of the Mob Rules World Tour, that ran from November 15, 1981 to August 13, 1982.

Album · 1982 · 14 Songs. Though it precipitated the ousters of Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice, Live Evil remains one of the great documents of the Sabbath live machine in action. Though the exact whereabouts of the performances are unknown, it's clear that the recordings are taken from the band’s 1982 tour of America, in support of Mob Rules. The sonic quality is raw and in your face, and the band roars like a well-tuned engine
