Video released in 1990 following Eurythmics on their Revival Tour. Features behind the scenes footage and live performances. Even so, it's still a lot of fun without them.
A Eurythmics new album was always an object of anticipation. Sadly, anticipation wasn't the term I can use regarding "We Too Are One". After "Savage", this one was the unexpected let-down. Many novelties happened at the time (take one Shakespear's Sister to start with), and Eurythmics' new album simply didn't succeed offering any new tricks under the hat, with white rabbits already dispersed around, leaving Annie and Dave heavily contrasted and blurred away from each other
Album We Too Are One. We Two Are One Lyrics People like us Are too messed up To live in solitude I'm gonna cure that problem baby I'm gonna fix it good.
Switching to Arista Records in the . Eurythmics made their last album together with We Too Are One, and they went out in style. Calling upon a broad pop range, their seventh album was their best since Be Yourself Tonight in 1985. The sound was varied, the melodies were strong, and the lyrics were unusually well-crafted. In retrospect, the album can be seen as a dry run for Annie Lennox's debut solo album, Diva (1992); songs like "Don't Ask Me Why" (which grazed the . Top 40) serve as precursors to the dramatic ballads to come . We Two Are One. Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart.
