Low-life ‎(Cass, Album). Factory Records Australasia, Factory. TC-FACT 100, Fact 100. Malaysia. Low-life ‎(Cass, Album). Every song is a celebration. Reply Notify me Helpful. referencing Low-life, CD, Album, Facd 100, FACD 100.

It is considered to be among the band's strongest work, displaying the moment they completed their transformation from post-punk hold-overs to dance rockers. The original Factory CD issues of the album were mastered with pre-emphasis.

Released May 13, 1985. 1. Love Vigilantes Lyrics. Isn’t it bullshit that Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time didn’t include this album but instead included Substance? Low-Life Q&A.

Love Vigilantes: The first song on the album represents the album well. Starting with a pronounced bass, harmonica and eventually a faint guitar and drum machine. In comes the vocals, frail and almost sarcastic. I Want To See My Family, My Wife And Child Waiting For Me. This song repeats, but you should really listen to the whole thing, because it's really a spectacular and the first of only two happier songs on the album. An overall nice song, complete with a speed guitar outro. The Perfect Kiss: The song that I originally hear and what got me into this album. A bass, dramatic keyboards, a drum machine and speed guitar occupy this song throughout the whole thing, and the result is pretty much the best song on the album.

The doom and gloom of previous records is tempered by a hopeful sense of yearning, and the harmonica-led (no, really) anti-war ballad "Love Vigilantes" branches into tragicomedy. The club hit "The Perfect Kiss" is as good for karaoke as it is for dancing, and the stately "Elegia" is a masterfully ambivalent mood piece.

The melodica-led pop song "Love Vigilantes" was the opener, nearly identical.

How is this not just the regular Canadian version with the oversized obi missing?
