Santa Maria de Montserrat is a Benedictine abbey located on the mountain o. .Maria Del-Socorro Vazquez recommends Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey. 18 January ·. Una experiencia ricamente espiritual. 23 July 2018 ·. I love this place because you take what seems to be a cable train through a mountain and when you reach the top there’s an amazing view. There are also various photo opportunities and two places to have lunch. The monastery also has a beautiful gift shop with very pretty jewelry.

Santa María del Mar is a remarkable Basilica constructed between 1329 and 1383. It is considered to be the best example of Catalan Gothic architecture. The construction of the temple began in 1329 by a group of believers that lived in the Port of Barcelona and its surrounding, as well as the Ribera. They financed the structure and also physically worked on the temple. For instance, all the guilds of the Ribera carried large stones to the construction site to build the temple.

Includes FREE MP3 version of this album. The seven featured instruments include the famous 1810 Kyburz organ at Santa Maria, Mao, Minorca. If you want to hear more of it, Novenko has already devoted a whole CD to it (Priory- Great European Organs, No 76) as has Albert Bolliger for Sinus. The organ in the cathedral at Menorca is a three manual organ of 1993 by Gabriel Blancafort. Two hymn preludes on local tunes by Michal Novenko are recorded here. The introduction of a pedal line comes somewhat as a surprise and the organ sound is more central European bar the en chamade reeds.
