Vincent Bohanan Says There’s No Such Thing as Too Much Church. In 2014, Vincent Bohanan formed a choir that would grow to be over 80 members strong and was stemmed from a childhood dream. This season he celebrates the release of his newest single, He Reigns, as he gears up to release a complimenting live album. In our interview below, the New York native details he and the Sound of Victory choir’s upcoming album, One Sound, in addition to describing how he formed the choir and his thoughts on the idea of too much church

You know there are spiritual and bodily diseases. In this case, we are dealing with spiritual illnesses that exist in our people.
GAWVI maintained that the album concept does also have a personal meaning that goes even deeper than his Kardashian encounter. As a part of the popular hip-hop label that includes rappers Lecrae, Trip Lee, Andy Mineo and more, he finds himself as the minority because he's not a hip-hop artist but instead a pop EDM singer and producer. He grew up in a Christian home to a father who was a minister and a mother who helped out in the church. Although he was on fire for God during his high school years, his world came crashing down when his parents suddenly filed for divorce. It made me question a lot of things that I grew up learning so I just went my own way.
