BBC Sessions is a compilation album featuring studio sessions and a live concert recorded by English rock group Led Zeppelin for the BBC. It was released on 11 November 1997, by Atlantic Records. Disc one consists of material from four different 1969 BBC sessions. Disc two contains most of the 1 April 1971 concert from the Paris Theatre in London. Disc three was only included in a limited run of album releases and features rare interviews from 1969, 1976/1977, and 1990.

The Complete BBC Sessions (3CD) Box set Rhino Records - No SAI 2016. BBC Sessions Atlantic 1997. Since their last album featured alomost a whole acoustic side, Led Zep will usually play an acoustic set (three to four songs). This was a expected moment during the concerts. Led Zeppelin fans were hungry for band's live recordings for years because of lack of official live releases. This space was filled with different bootlegs though. BBC Sessions is release, which at last covered all this area - double album is compilation of almost all possible known band's early live recordings.
Still, rock dorks were tangling with this issue long before any of us, and in the context of reckoning with Led Zeppelin-especially as an oft-bootlegged yet still elusive live-band document-the official two-disc release of BBC Sessions in 1997 felt like a moment of clarity . The first disc of BBC Sessions covers a stretch from early March to early August of 1969, a couple months after the release of their self-titled debut and a few before they dropped Led Zeppelin II.
