If you were to strip off the mouse and bring it to the bare essential, how would you design it? Kim Hye-shin perceives it as a single strip that can be bent into the infinite-sign-shape, with only the necessary features on it. Interesting take, but not for everyone; Bendy M may be a good enough design if your focus is more on the keyboard and use a mouse just as a pointer. But for a mouse that needs to help me do Photoshop, I need substance, grip, the whole nine yards. Then again one man’s medicine is another’s poison! Designer: Kim Hye-shin.

Testing here at Plugable on the final release version of Windows 10 has identified some situations where a USB device, such as a keyboard or mouse, attached through a USB . hub does not wake the host computer from sleep mode. The bug seems somewhat random, with not all systems affected. In some cases, two systems with similar USB . controller chipsets have behaved differently. Minor issues with drivers are not unusual with major updates, and are usually soon rectified by Microsoft.

There's a style of electronic music rising from the discarded detritus of such styles as Dub, House and Breakbeat which is redefining rhythm. Both dt.y (a member of the ULTRA MILKMAIDS) - odd numbered tracks - and A DIET OFF - even numbered tracks - fit into this category. It's a music full of adventure and experimentation which rarely fails to entertain the listener. THE WIRE magazine would probably review this under the general umbrella of 'Critical Beats' and who am I to come up with a more suitable pigeonhole? Having been thrilled by the sonic adventures coming out of the EXPERIMENTAL SEAFOOD RECORDS label, it's nice to hear that others are making a similar contribution to music. Emphasis is on walking-pace beats rather than frenetic spasms of aggitated spastic gyrations. Sampling rubs shoulders with tight drumming, voices fade in, JAMES BROWN-style Jazz Funkiness appears and disappears, The density of the mixes makes for a fascinating rhythmic aquarium - the further you delve into it, the more you perceive, without ever losing the delightful dance attitude. The BPMs are set to an almost Ambient ease - there's little here that'll upset the most nervous Toy Poodle. And yet this music never seems to lack a glorious edge to it. Like moving through a theme park full of familiar yet ever-intriguing rides, this album provides wall-to-wall entertainment. Originally reviewed for Metamorphic Journeyman.
