Three Of You ‎– Grace. Label: Academy Records ‎– ACD 8521. Great release and the first by Three Of You. The instrumentals in this are bizarre and endearingly dark in an almost hypnotic way. Riccardo Gioli (aka Venonville) offers up some effectively disturbed vocals, especially before the chorus and Steve Martin (a DJ, not the actor), who himself has a few Italo-Disco singles (my favourite being Roxide which coincidentally also involves Mangoni and Gioli from . features on some strained (in a good way) backing vocals. And how can you not love that intro synth and the pitched down voice over

Three Days Grace is the self-titled debut studio album by Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. It was released on July 22, 2003 through Jive Records. It has such a raw feeling I guess to put it. It feels like real music and I love it. The most atmospheric, classic debut. One X has more hits, you can’t take that away from it. But I just feel like this album has the most good songs: Just Like You, Home, Scared, Drown, Overrated, and a little number called I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU! Yeah, this album is the heaviest and the best. Debut album is much more raw and emotional. The feels were so much more real. One-X may have better singles, but musically, Life Starts Now is by far their best work - bkweigel.

Awesome guitar in this song, I repeated a lot of the intro because some the the parts were slightly different.

//THIS IS THE SHIT!!It's sooo hard to find great heavy weight dark Italo-Disco records which sound a lot like Wave! Lucky me I found it by clicking through some favourite lists from users here! From 0 to 2 after "Gitano" in my top ten now!! So if you have a near mint copy for sale let me know! I will pay good money!

Great release and the first by Three Of You. The instrumentals in this are bizarre and endearingly dark in an almost hypnotic way. Riccardo Gioli (aka Venonville) offers up some effectively disturbed vocals, especially before the chorus and Steve Martin (a DJ, not the actor), who himself has a few Italo-Disco singles (my favourite being Roxide which coincidentally also involves Mangoni and Gioli from T.O.Y.) features on some strained (in a good way) backing vocals. And how can you not love that intro synth and the pitched down voice over. The side B is great too. It is equally hypnotic, but with a key difference being in the drum sequencing. It could almost be the theme of some obscure 80s horror film. Also contained is some great use of classic synth bells, a prominent feature of many mid-late 80s tracks. A black and white cover featuring the upside down reflection of a tree in some mud also adds to the overall feeling the record produces. This is in my opinion very, very, very easily the best record on the Academy label and a near classic example of the pairing of Italo-Disco and Darkwave.
