This is the second album by the band Brakes (BrakesBrakesBrakes being the name they had to use in America because of copywrite). They had alot to live up to after the 1st album Give Blood which is one of my all time fave albums, and they almost pull it of. here are some great tracks here starting with Hold Me In The. River and Beatific Visions also the country style of On Your Side and If I Should Die Tonight but why did they inclued the old b-side Porcupine Or Pineapple and the silly Spring Chicken, didn't they have any more tunes?,besides that it's a good album

This is the second album by the band Brakes (BrakesBrakesBrakes being the name they had to use in America because of copywrite). They had alot to live up to after the 1st album Give Blood which is one of my all time fave albums , and they almost pull it off. There are some great tracks here starting with Hold Me In The River and Beatific Visions also the country style of On Your Side and If I Should Die Tonight but why did they inclued the old b-side Porcupine Or Pineapple and the silly Spring Chicken, didn't they have any more tunes?,besides that it's a good album. The hidden track is an acoustic track called The Witchin Hour , Which you don't get on the UK version.I have seen this band live four times now and each time they have been great and alot of fun so check them out if you can.
